Greetings!

Join the team at one of Massachusetts' Best Places to Work!

We've always known Treeline is a great place to work and now all of Boston does, too. On Friday, June 22, the Boston Business Journal ranked Treeline as one of the top five Best Places to Work for 2007 in the small companies division (20-100 local employees).

This achievement is especially important to us because it illustrates our commitment to cultivating a working environment in which all employees are empowered to succeed.

During the past year, our client roster has grown to include nearly 200 high-profile companies. We've doubled our revenues, increased our staff size by 30%, added contract sales staffing services, and continued our commitment to providing excellent benefits for our staff and their families.

Now, we're looking for talented consultants in all of our markets. If you are motivated, driven, and have a desire to work for one the region's best companies, contact us today.

Blogging: the new way to generate sales leads

Womanworking

This just in: blogs are actually well-suited to generating sales leads. According to professional blogger and Internet Marketing Consultant Chris Garrett, creating attention, interest, and desire with a blog is easy if you have the right content. Why? Because blogs gather you a targeted audience, then feed fact-filled, valued-added, objection-busting content to your prospects without feeling like they are being sold to.

With a blog you can sell with information. You can present ideas, proof, testimonials, and case studies designed to show your prospects how they will benefit from what you are offering.

Getting your prospects to actually make a purchase is a bit more tricky. Persuasive content is great, but you need to follow it up with a call to action that gets results. This could be as simple as "for more information," but it should be compelling enough to create a sense of urgency.

Remember to offer as much proof and evidence as you can and be genuine, approachable, open, and a good listener. Once you've engaged your audience, their barriers will start to come down.

Blogs can be a valuable tool in your Internet marketing strategy. You can create a tremendous amount of awareness, attention, and demand for your product or service, build credibility, establish yourself as an authority, and generate hot leads in a no-pressure situation.

Sales Tip: Perfecting your opening statement:

Nothing is more important than your opening statement. In person or over the phone, your window of opportunity is generally limited to 10 seconds or less. That means you have to maximize the impact of every word, syllable, and pause in your lead-off statement, and create immediate interest for further discussion. Most importantly, within that critical window, you must convince the customer they cannot live without your product or service.

Use strong impactful words like maximize, increase, grow, profit from, prevent, and save, and never leave a vague or misleading voice mail message. With practice, you can perfect a powerful and compelling opening statement that is sure to launch many new sales opportunities.
